Founded in 1988 by Gwendolyn Hink, Hink Appraisals established itself as a trusted name in the industry. Cameron Hink joined the company shortly thereafter. After years of contributing their expertise, Gwendolyn and Cameron Hink have now retired as members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. The exceptional service continues under the ownership Naomi (Hink) Hornby, who joined the business in 2015.

Naomi's journey in the appraisal industry has been guided by the invaluable mentorship she received from Gwen and Cameron Hink, the founders of Hink Appraisals. As esteemed professionals with extensive experience in serving southern Manitoba, Gwen and Cameron shared their wealth of knowledge and expertise with Naomi, providing her with unparalleled insights into the intricacies of the local market. In February 2019, Naomi received her CRA P. App designation through the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Obtaining the education requirements from the University of British Columbia, obtaining her Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation. In addition to CRA P. App designation she hold a degree in business management from Athabasca University and diploma in business administrations from Red River College. She actively participates in seminars, courses, and events, consistently expanding her knowledge base and staying abreast of the latest trends and regulations in the field.

Hink Appraisals has expanded our team to include Lindsey Henley, owner of Henley Appraisal Services. Lindsey has long standing and close ties with Hink Appraisals, was mentored by Gwendolyn and Cameron Hink. She obtained her CRA P. App designation in 2010. This enhances our capacity and ability to continue to deliver the high-quality services you have come to expect, even when faced with fluctuations in demand or specialized requirements.

 

As Canadian Residential Appraisers we are qualified to assess the value of individual undeveloped residential dwelling sites and properties containing up to four self-contained family housing units. Holding AIC-designated credentials, we assure you that our real estate appraisers possess the extensive training and expertise necessary to deliver accurate and impartial estimates or opinions of any residential property's value.
